About Me and My Gear

My name is Jason and I’m runnin’ this operation. I’ve been a Mac user since the Fall of 1990, when I sat down in the computer lab at St. Petersburg Junior College (now St. Petersburg College) in Florida and saw two options:  a computer running Windows 3.0 (if I remember correctly) and a brand new Macintosh Classic, with it’s fancy user interface and simple operating system.  After using both, I made the no-brainer decision to go with what was easiest:  the Mac.

I am “that guy” in the family who gets all of the questions about how to use the computers and phones.  That also extends to work and my circle of friends.  So I started Everyday Apple as a place where you can find instructional videos and tips on using your Mac, iPhone, iPad, or Apple TV.  Most of it will be about your software, either Mac OS X or iOS. Occasional tips about hardware might show up but I primarily want to offer tutorials on software.  I’ll mostly feature the videos I’m creating at YouTube, but I’ll have some other posts here and there on this site.
